Cyber Crime Reporting


The Cyber Crime Reporting portal is an initiative of Government of India to facilitate victims/complainants to report cyber crime complaints online. This portal caters to complaints pertaining to cyber crimes only with special focus on cyber crimes against women and children. Complaints reported on this portal are dealt by law enforcement agencies/ police based on the information available in the complaints. It is imperative to provide correct and accurate details while filing complaint for prompt action.
Please contact local police in case of an emergency or for reporting crimes other than cyber crimes. National police helpline number is 100. National women helpline number is 181.
There is two type of reporting:-
  1. Women/Child related complain cyber crime: Here you report Anonymously and can track the report.
  2. Other Cyber Crime

Here state-wise, you can get reporting person name with phone no. Please do not hesitate to complain any kind of cyber crime.

Contact Bihar Vigilance Department to complain



First of all Department of Vigilance functioned as a wing of Political (General) Department and its main assignment was to eradicate corruption. In 1946, it was renamed as Anti corruption Department. In course of time, it was placed as a wing of Cabinet (Vigilance) Department, under the Cabinet Co-ordination Department. Finally, Department of Vigilance has been identified as an independent Department.

The basic objective of this Department is to purge the administrative set up and to contain the prevailing corruption and malpractice rampant in Government Organisation. The department is making effort to sensitize people for raising voice against corruption. The department is seriously concerned about speedy trail of the accused, speedy disposal of complaint petitions, so that, the people may feel that Vigilance functions as eyes and ears of the Government.

Bihar Chief Minister Sri Nitish Kumar holds charge of the Departmental Minister of this department. Sri Asok Kumar Chauhan, IAS is the Principal Secretary of the department. Vigilance Department has three investigation agencies, namely Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Technical Examiner Cell, Electricity Vigilance Board. In order to speed up trapping of corrupt Govt. servant and to collect intelligence about disproportionate assets belonging to corrupt Govt. servants the Govt. of Bihar has set up Special Vigilance Unit by recruiting team of retired CBI Officials on contract basis who had high reputation for integrity during their service tenure.
